brick and wrought iron from the 1800's. The city is over 250 years in existence; yet, with transportation changes, land changes, etc. we have maintained the original City plan.

The city is full of architectural splendor with different styles, built mostly in the 19th and early 20th century. Those buildings cover a time span of identified architectural periods known as
Greek Revival, Regency, Art Nouveau, Victorian, etc. All of these were rich in detailing whether in brick, stone, cast iron or wood. This is one of the reasons that touring through the streets is so exciting.

For larger groups, a tour of private homes and gardens can be arranged. Whether riding or walking, you will appreciate the full scope of Savannah's charm, the unique city squares, and the majestic oak trees.
